Overview Join our dynamic healthcare finance team as a Healthcare Accountant, where your expertise will drive financial integrity and support the mission of delivering exceptional patient care. Duties Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger analysis to ensure financial accuracy. Prepare detailed financial statements, reports, and analysis aligned with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and healthcare-specific regulations. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Conduct bank reconciliations, cash flow analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations to support sound financial management. Assist with regulatory reporting requirements. Support internal audits by providing documentation, conducting audit procedures, and implementing corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks platforms to streamline financial processes. Maintain thorough records of all financial transactions including debits & credits while ensuring adherence to non-profit accounting standards when applicable. Experience Speed typist of up to 60 wpm quickbooks literate
