Are you interested in finance? Are you curious about how finance supports mission-driven organizations to help them achieve their strategic goals? The North Carolina Biotechnology Center's Finance team is excited to welcome a current undergraduate or graduate student—or a recent graduate (within the past six months)—to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience working alongside a collaborative team while developing insight into Finance initiatives. The position offers a flexible, hybrid schedule, with up to 50% of time spent in the office.

Pay:

$20/hour

Duration:

4-10 weeks between June and August 2024

Schedule:

Flexible, M-F, 4-8 hours daily, no more than 29 hours per week (50% Hybrid)

Essential Duties:

The primary focus of this role will be to assist Finance in the strategy and execution of our Finance-related projects. Key areas of focus for the Finance intern will include: Assist with learning and developing finance deliverables using AI tools. Developing finance reports using internal tools and applications. Asist with automating repots in finance, contracts and grants and the conference center. Developing financial models for various funding programs. The ideal candidate will possess the following
