Job Description
Experteer Overview As Quantitative Program Vice President, you will serve as the subject matter expert for portfolio construction and risk analytics within PMG, guiding cross‑functional initiatives that deliver measurable improvements. You will mentor team members, apply quantitative and qualitative methods, and shape innovative solutions aligned with PMG priorities to meet client investment goals. You will lead multi‑team programs, manage delivery and value, and partner with IT, Legal, Compliance, and other PMG groups. This role blends research, testing, and strategic rollout to optimize production settings and impact.
Compensation / Benefits
Provide leadership and SME for programs spanning analytics, risk management, back-testing, and portfolio construction/automation
Manage prioritized programs to ensure delivery of measurable outcomes and value
Support strategic innovation by assessing needs, evaluating solutions, and implementing new programs
Maintain relationships with key partners across business units (IT, Legal & Compliance, Human Capital, vendors, PMG teams)
Create and oversee training materials for teams and other units
Coach, mentor, and train PMG team members on program knowledge and products
Identify, build, and track metrics to evaluate success and identify improvements
Prioritize vendor feature enhancements with significant impact on solution quality
Organize research and testing to guide production rollout and ongoing strategy optimization
Contribute to employee education on rolled-out solutions and ongoing use
Lead change and transition management efforts within your team and across PMG Tasks
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
10+ years of hands-on optimization technology experience and leadership of investment/portfolio programs using quantitative analytics
Proven ability to elicit cooperation from senior management, clients, and other departments with strong written and oral communication
Ability to identify needs and design effective solutions
Experience working independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to adapt to shifting priorities
Experience with portfolio construction tools such as Axioma, Barra, and/or FactSet Key requirements
