Hybrid PRSG® is partnering with a growing, privately held organization seeking an experienced and hands-on Vice President of Finance to lead its finance function. This executive leadership role will oversee all aspects of finance, accounting, financial planning & analysis, treasury, cash management, reporting, and budgeting while serving as a strategic partner to the executive team. The ideal candidate combines strong financial leadership with a practical, operational mindset and has experience building scalable financial processes within a growth-oriented small to mid-sized organization. Job Responsibilities Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute the organization's financial strategy and long-range plans. Provide financial insights and recommendations related to business performance, growth initiatives, investments, and operational priorities. Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and drive data-driven decision-making. Develop and maintain executive-level financial reporting, dashboards, and key performance metrics. Oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, and compliance activities. Ensure strong internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate audits, tax filings, and relationships with external auditors, advisors, and financial partners. Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, working capital, and banking relationships. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Drive process enhancements, automation initiatives, and scalable financial infrastructure to support organizational growth. Partner cross-functionally to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and overall business performance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required; MBA and/or CPA preferred. 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience. Demonstrated expertise in FP&A, accounting, financial reporting, treasury, cash management, and banking relationships. Experience building, leading, or enhancing finance infrastructure within a privately held, growing organization. Prior experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or other strategic transactions. Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, internal controls, and financial reporting. Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization. Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Experience improving processes, controls, reporting quality, and operational efficiency. Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and financial reporting tools. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
