Vice President of Dental Revenue Cycle Management New York, NY | Executive Leadership | Strategic Growth | Revenue Cycle Excellence Lead enterprise-wide revenue cycle operations and drive financial performance for a rapidly growing multi-site dental organization. This executive leadership opportunity offers the chance to build scalable revenue cycle infrastructure, optimize operational performance, and partner directly with senior leadership to support continued organizational growth and success. Clinical Magnet, a division of ICON Medical Network, is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Dental Revenue Cycle Management for a full-time executive leadership opportunity in New York, NY (open to remote for the right candidate but would need to travel into NYC at times). This role will oversee the entire revenue cycle continuum, from patient financial intake and insurance verification through claim adjudication, collections, and final payment resolution across a large network of supported dental practices. & Leadership Develop and execute enterprise-wide revenue cycle strategies that support organizational growth and financial performance Design scalable revenue cycle workflows across all supported practices Establish long-term revenue cycle goals, initiatives, and performance standards Drive operational excellence throughout the revenue cycle organization Insurance Operations & Reimbursement Oversee insurance verification, eligibility processes, fee schedule management, and payer reimbursement strategies Lead provider credentialing and enrollment initiatives Support payer contract negotiations and reimbursement optimization efforts Develop strategies to maximize reimbursement and reduce revenue leakage Accounts Receivable & Collections Performance Drive AR performance and collection effectiveness across the organization Reduce aging accounts and improve revenue cycle efficiency Establish structured follow-up processes and accountability measures Monitor collection performance and implement corrective actions when necessary Denial Prevention & Resolution Build and maintain proactive denial prevention programs Establish best practices for claim accuracy and first-pass acceptance Lead denial management and appeals strategies Monitor denial trends and implement sustainable process improvements Patient Financial Experience Develop patient-centered financial policies and collection strategies Oversee payment plan programs and point-of-service collection initiatives Balance revenue optimization with patient satisfaction and experience Ensure clear communication of financial responsibilities throughout the patient journey Team Leadership & Development Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing revenue cycle teams Oversee billing managers, credentialing specialists, AR teams, coding teams, and revenue cycle leaders Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Develop succession planning and leadership development programs Technology, Analytics & Automation Evaluate and implement revenue cycle technologies, clearinghouses, and automation solutions Drive adoption of AI-powered revenue cycle tools and workflow enhancements Develop executive-level dashboards and KPI reporting systems Utilize predictive analytics to improve operational performance Financial Performance Management Establish and monitor enterprise-wide revenue cycle metrics Present monthly performance updates to executive leadership Develop business cases for strategic investments and operational improvements Partner with finance leadership to optimize revenue cycle-related financial performance Compliance, Vendor Management & Growth Support Manage vendor and payer relationships while establishing service benchmarks Ensure compliance with ADA guidelines, CDT coding standards, HIPAA regulations, and state-specific billing requirements Lead internal audits and regulatory compliance initiatives Support mergers, acquisitions, and revenue cycle integration efforts for newly acquired practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field required MBA, MHA, or related advanced degree preferred Minimum 8+ years of progressive revenue cycle leadership experience Minimum 3+ years in a Director, Vice President, or senior revenue cycle leadership role Extensive experience within a DSO, dental group, or multi-site specialty dental organization Deep expertise in dental billing, CDT coding, ADA claim forms, coordination of benefits, and insurance reimbursement Demonstrated success improving net collection rates, reducing AR days, and increasing clean claim rates Experience leading teams of 10+ revenue cycle professionals across multiple locations Strong financial acumen and experience managing revenue cycle-related financial performance Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar platforms Strong understanding of HIPAA, payer compliance requirements, and healthcare regulations Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience within a private equity-backed DSO environment Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and large-scale integrations Expertise in payer contract negotiations and fee schedule optimization Experience implementing AI-driven revenue cycle technologies and automation platforms Revenue Cycle certification (CHBME, CRCR, or equivalent) preferred Strong background in analytics,
