Kyle Clarke from Robert Half is partnering with a growing casino and gaming operation in Western New York that is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to lead its accounting and financial reporting functions. This role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure regulatory and financial compliance, and provide strategic financial oversight to support the organization's continued growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards applicable to the gambling industry.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes to support organizational goals and initiatives.
• Lead the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations for growth opportunities.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and efficiency within the department.
• Conduct audits and reviews to ensure the integrity of financial data and operational compliance.
• Manage document control processes, including scanning and compiling financial records for reporting and compliance purposes.
