Regional Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage the accounting department personnel. Maintain general ledgers for all Rhode Island properties, including sportsbook and I gaming operations Oversee monthly close process Aid in the preparation of monthly financial statements. Prepare quarterly reporting packages due to corporate Oversee the collections of inter-track settlements. Maintain contract files. Balance monthly cash accounts. Reconcile all balance sheet accounts Analyze various monthly general ledger accounts. Prepare and maintain monthly Sales Tax reports. Responsible for all remittances to the Rhode Island Lottery Responsible for federal and state remittances to the Department of Treasury and State of Rhode Island, respectively Responsible for submissions of marketing reimbursement packages to the Rhode Island Lottery Responsible for maintaining accounting policies and procedures Coordinates with shared services for accounting processes handled by Corporate including payroll, fixed assets, leases and income taxes Yearly filing of IRS reports: W2G, 1099's and 1042's. Backup for daily cash reporting. Backup for wire transfer Reconcile Keno reports for reimbursement of bankroll. Backup for Database maintenance of tote information. Handle all audits of Pension plans for various unions.

Target Salary Range:

$135,000
