Controller

Our fast-growing client looking for a skilled Controller to join their team in Gallatin, Tennessee. This hybrid position requires one onsite workday per week and offers an excellent opportunity to grow professionally in the construction industry. As a Contract to permanent role, this position is ideal for candidates seeking long-term career development. The position requires moderate overnight travel within the state of Tennessee.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of accounting operations, including revenue recognition and financial reporting.
• Prepare quarterly financial reports and submit them to corporate leadership.
• Maintain and enforce strong internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and accuracy.
• Utilize accounting software such as ViewPoint and QuickBooks to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Lead month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of accounting practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to accounting systems and processes.
• Apply knowledge of construction accounting to manage industry-specific financial tasks.
• Support audits and ensure timely responses to inquiries and documentation requests.
