COMP:

$200K-$300K Base + Bonus + Equity A high-growth, private equity-backed manufacturing company is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead accounting, reporting, controls, and public-company readiness initiatives as the organization prepares for a potential IPO within the next 1-2 years. This is a highly visible leadership role with direct exposure to executive leadership and private equity ownership, offering a clear path to a future Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) position. Responsibilities Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities in accordance with US GAAP Build and enhance SOX 404 internal control framework and public-company reporting infrastructure Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Manage technical accounting matters including purchase accounting, leases, pensions, and complex transactions Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, growth planning, and IPO readiness Lead external audit activities and maintain audit readiness Drive process improvements, ERP optimization, and scalable financial operations Mentor and develop the accounting organization Qualifications CPA required 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience Strong SEC reporting, SOX, and technical accounting expertise Experience within a public company, PE-backed, or pre-IPO environment Manufacturing, food & beverage, or CPG industry experience strongly preferred ERP implementation or optimization experience preferred (SAGE X3 a plus) Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Why Join?
