Assistant Controller - Lost Pines Toyota We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support the financial operations of a busy automotive dealership. This role works closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient accounting processes across all departments. Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports Reconcile schedules, accounts, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness Review and process vehicle deals for proper accounting treatment and compliance Monitor internal controls and assist in implementing process improvements Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee records and payments Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and federal, state, and local regulations Collaborate with department managers to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes Provide support during audits and assist with required documentation Requirements Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
