We're looking for an Assistant Controller who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative, client‑focused environment. About the Role As an Assistant Controller, you will lead and execute the month‑end close process for a portfolio of clients, including reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis. You'll work closely with your team's Controller and Staff Accountant to ensure high‑quality, timely, and accurate financial deliverables. This is a full‑cycle accounting role where you'll have direct interaction with clients, helping them solve problems and navigate their financial operations with clarity. You'll also have opportunities to support special client projects and pursue ongoing training to elevate your skills and career path. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience, including month‑end close and financial statement preparation Experience with preferred QuickBooks, Great Plains and other accounting software a plus Knowledge & Skills Strong Excel skills required Solid understanding of GAAP Experience managing Full Cycle Accounting Processes Key Traits Tech‑savvy with experience across various financial applications Passionate about helping clients and teammates succeed Collaborative, goal‑oriented, and adaptable Able to work across multiple accounting systems Strong organizational and time‑management abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Committed to developing others and contributing to team learning Highly professional, client‑service oriented, and detail‑driven Why Venturity You'll be part of a talented, supportive team that invests in your growth and success.
