Job Description

A well-established and growing organization in the manufacturing and construction sector is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead its financial operations. This is a high-impact role offering direct exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making in a dynamic, project-driven environment. Reporting to senior leadership and working closely with executive stakeholders, the Financial Controller will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls while supporting operational and strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting:
Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with
US GAAP Budgeting & Forecasting:
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to support business strategy
Cost & Performance Management:
Analyze project costs, pricing, and margins; track profitability and develop KPIs to enhance operational performance
Internal Controls & Compliance:
Establish and maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Audit & Tax Coordination:
Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to support audits and ensure regulatory compliance
Cash Flow & Treasury:
Oversee cash flow, AR/AP, banking relationships, and liquidity planning
Risk Management:
Support contract review, insurance oversight, and risk mitigation strategies
Leadership:
Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
Strategic Partnership:
Collaborate with senior leadership on business expansion, capital investments, and operational improvements
Project Financial Oversight:
Partner with operations, sales, and project teams to monitor large-scale project financial performance
Systems & Process Improvement:
Drive ERP optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
Executive Reporting:
Support board-level reporting, including financial performance, KPIs, forecasting, and strategic initiatives Qualifications Education & Credentials Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA designation required Experience 8-10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience 5+ years in a Controller or similar senior finance role Experience in project-based environments such as manufacturing, construction, or similar industries is strongly preferred Core Competencies Strong knowledge of US GAAP , financial reporting, and compliance standards Expertise in project costing and job cost accounting Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities Proven leadership and team development experience Strong business acumen with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders Why This Opportunity This role offers the chance to join a growing organization where finance plays a central role in driving operational success and strategic growth.
