Job Description:
Corporate Field Controller (Healthcare Operations) We are seeking a highly analytical and operationally focused Corporate Field Controller to support financial performance across multiple hospital locations. This role is ideal for a finance professional who can go beyond the numbers-translating financial data into actionable insights, identifying opportunities for improvement, and partnering with facility leadership to drive performance. The Field Controller provides oversight of field-based financial operations related to cost control, revenue performance, and KPI management, while serving as a key advisor to hospital administrators and executive leadership. Key Responsibilities Partner with Hospital Administrators and leadership teams to interpret financial performance and drive operational decision-making Analyze, calculate, and clearly communicate key hospital KPIs on a weekly basis Deliver productivity reporting, trend analysis, and performance summaries across multiple facilities Identify financial and operational variances; provide clear recommendations and solutions Support development of pro formas related to revenue, labor, and supply costs Evaluate cost control processes and implement strategies to improve financial efficiency Audit financial and operational workflows, recommending improvements where needed Collaborate with corporate leadership to implement financial initiatives and standardize best practices Develop tools and resources that enable facility leaders to better understand and act on financial data Monitor and assess relationships between operational metrics and financial outcomes Assist with financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights (not just reporting) Maintain oversight of large capital projects and support facility-level financial tracking Partner cross-functionally to ensure clean data flow and integrity of financial information Support KPI development and performance tracking for both facilities and corporate departments Travel to facilities to provide hands-on financial support and consultation What Sets This Role Apart Heavy emphasis on financial analysis, storytelling, and strategic recommendations Direct partnership with operations and executive leadership Opportunity to influence real-time business decisions and performance improvement Less focus on transactional accounting, more focus on insight and impact
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in healthcare finance, financial analysis, or operational finance Strong background in financial modeling, KPI analysis, and performance management Experience working closely with operations teams to drive business outcomes Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearly
Licensure/Certification:
