Position Overview The Corporate Financial Controller will be the senior financial leader in Houston, driving all accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and executive-level financial presentations. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting and Compliance Lead preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with

Prepare consolidated financial statements for the company and subsidiaries Ensure compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements Manage annual audits with external auditors and support international accounting compliance Accounting Operations Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, revenue recognition, and billing Manage the monthly close process with accuracy and timeliness Develop and implement accounting procedures and systems to support rapid growth Strategic Support and Presentations Provide actionable financial insights to support executive decision-making Prepare financial reports and presentations for leadership, investors, and institutional partners Evaluate and improve accounting processes, strengthening internal controls Team Leadership Lead and mentor existing finance staff during operations transition Build and scale the Houston-based finance team Cultivate a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement Qualifications Extensive accounting experience with leadership or controller responsibilities Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, multi-entity financial operations, and internal controls Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Proven ability to lead teams and manage change in a growing organization Houston-based, in-office presence required Preferred Credentials CPA certification Experience in fuel, energy, or refinery operations ERP experience (NetSuite or comparable systems) International accounting exposure, including transfer pricing and VAT Why This Role is Exciting This is more than a finance role—it's a chance to shape the financial future of an energy company that's innovating across borders.
