Financial Controller

Large Civil Construction company is hiring a Financial Controller, with experience in the construction industry. Job Summary The Controller performs monthly and annual financial statement preparation, and completes day-to-day accounting tasks. This role assists the Lead Controller and CFO to create fiscal strategies that align with the goals of the company. Public accounting experience and NetSuite experience are a plus . The Candidate must be hands-on and will perform the following essential duties.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Assist with all accounting functions within the organization, including developing, maintaining, and improving accounting and financial internal controls and processes in compliance with internal policies, GAAP, SEC Reporting and PCAOB Standards.
• Engage in critical and confidential tasks and conversations including, but not limited to, those resulting in a financial impact.
• Assist in the Management of Over/Under Report (WIP), job cost analysis, and other project related financials.
• Perform data entry, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Assist in the process to ensure timely and accurate monthly/quarterly close processes and financial statement release.

Position reports to the CFO and lead Controller. Reconcile operating accounts;

Monthly:

$110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
