Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Assistant Finance Director to join our financial leadership team. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to influence organizational financial strategies, oversee complex accounting functions, and drive fiscal excellence across diverse sectors. Responsibilities Assist in developing and executing the organization's financial strategy aligned with long-term goals and regulatory standards Oversee corporate accounting functions including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and cost management Lead the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and IAS (International Accounting Standards) Manage risk analysis processes to identify potential financial vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies Supervise treasury management activities such as cash flow analysis, investment management, and budget forecasting to optimize fiscal resources Ensure timely regulatory reporting and compliance with governmental accounting standards for non-profit or public sector organizations Support strategic planning initiatives by providing insightful financial analysis, profit & loss assessments, and cost control recommendations Facilitate audit processes by maintaining meticulous records of financial transactions and supporting documentation Lead a team of finance professionals through coaching, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous learning Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred Extensive experience in corporate finance, governmental accounting, or non-profit accounting environments Deep knowledge of
IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606
(Revenue Recognition), and other relevant accounting standards Proven expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management techniques Strong understanding of financial software systems and tools for balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and report writing Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while driving strategic initiatives Excellent communication skills for preparing comprehensive financial reports and interpreting complex financial data for diverse audiences Join us as we champion innovation in financial management!
