Director of Finance Requirements & Qualifications Proven experience as a Director of Finance in hospitality - resorts, hotels, or clubs (minimum 3 years required). Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or mathematics. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting controls, and financial processes. Experience overseeing accounting operations, including GL, A/P, A/R, payroll, tax compliance, and fixed assets. Experience managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting. Audit coordination and regulatory compliance experience. Strategic financial planning and analysis capabilities. Director of Finance Preferred Background & Skills Leadership and team management skills. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interact with executive leadership and external partners. Integrity, business acumen, and a customer-focused mindset. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities. Director of Finance Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Oversee accounting functions and staff, including A/P, A/R, payroll, tax compliance, and fixed assets. Provide financial guidance to executive leadership and ensure alignment with company strategy. Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost efficiencies to maintain financial stability. Prepare and analyze timely financial and operational reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual). Ensure strong internal controls, compliance with GAAP, and protection of company assets. Colaborate with multiple departments, find solutions, and share knowledge.
