Job Description

My client is a leading international developer delivering large-scale data center infrastructure across multiple global markets. They are now looking to appoint a Vice President of Construction to lead delivery on a flagship hyperscale campus in San Antonio. This is a senior leadership role overseeing the execution of one of the largest data center developments in the region. The project involves multiple buildings, significant power infrastructure, and long-term phased expansion, and requires someone who has operated at a similar level of scale and complexity. You will take full ownership of construction strategy and execution, working closely with internal development, design, and operations teams, alongside top-tier general contractors and trade partners. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end construction delivery across a large hyperscale data center campus Oversee multiple concurrent builds, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are achieved Manage and direct GCs, consultants, and vendor partners at scale Drive construction strategy, sequencing, and overall project execution Partner with development and investment teams to align delivery with long-term platform growth Build and lead a high-performing on-site construction team Required Experience & Skills Demonstrated experience delivering hyperscale or large-scale data center projects (multi-building campuses) Proven track record operating in a senior leadership role (VP, Director, or equivalent) Strong understanding of mission critical construction, including MEP-heavy environments and power infrastructure Experience managing projects with substantial budgets (hundreds of millions to multi-billion dollar range) Ability to lead multiple contractors and complex stakeholder groups simultaneously Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage risk across large programs Experience working for a developer/operator, or closely aligned GC delivering hyperscale projects This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to lead a flagship build for a well-capitalized international platform with a significant pipeline in North America.
