Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to guide financial operations and strengthen accounting leadership for a growing organization in Temple, Texas. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can build strong processes, support business decision-making, and manage a team in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will bring deep accounting and finance expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct the day-to-day accounting function, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and strong internal controls.
  • Lead and develop an accounting team with multiple direct reports, setting priorities, coaching performance, and promoting accountability.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to align financial practices with operational needs and business goals.
  • Establish and refine scalable financial processes that support continued growth and improve efficiency.
  • Review financial results, identify trends, and provide insights that support planning and decision-making.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support document management activities related to financial records, including organizing, reviewing, scanning, and maintaining supporting files.
  • Contribute to operational and finance-related improvement initiatives, including occasional travel when business needs require on-site collaboration.
