  • Full-time Overview Join our dynamic organization as a Comptroller, where you will lead the financial management and oversight of pharmacy management.
This pivotal role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining accurate financial records, and guiding strategic financial planning. As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive financial integrity, foster transparency, and support sustainable growth through expert financial stewardship. Your expertise will help us uphold the highest standards in accounting practices while empowering our mission-driven initiatives. Duties Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant standards. Manage financial reporting processes, including preparing detailed financial statements, regulatory reports, and audit documentation in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and other applicable frameworks. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions promptly. Lead the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support organizational objectives. Ensure adherence to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls for internal audit processes and strengthen internal controls across all financial operations. Supervise cash management activities to optimize liquidity and ensure efficient use of resources. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical accounting standards such as GAAP and IFRS; interpret their impact on organizational policies and procedures. Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to facilitate a smooth review process. Implement and oversee the use of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms to streamline financial operations. Support regulatory reporting requirements specific to non-profit or governmental entities, ensuring full compliance with all legal obligations. Skills Extensive knowledge of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and general ledger reconciliation. Proven experience with SOX compliance, IFRS standards, and governmental or non-profit accounting practices. Strong technical accounting skills with expertise in financial analysis, account reconciliation, and financial report writing. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent systems; familiarity with financial management tools is essential. Excellent understanding of cash flow management, budgeting processes, forecasting techniques, and regulatory reporting requirements. Ability to interpret complex financial concepts clearly and communicate findings effectively through detailed reports. Demonstrated capability in managing accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll administration efficiently. Strong analytical skills combined with a high level of financial acumen; detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy. Experience working within public accounting environments or organizations requiring strict adherence to GAAP standards is highly desirable.
