Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Divisional/Plant Controller to support financial operations in Waco, Texas through a Long-term Contract assignment. This role is well suited for a hands-on accounting specialist who can work closely with plant leadership, oversee core close activities, and help maintain strong financial controls in a manufacturing setting. The position offers meaningful operational visibility and requires someone comfortable balancing payroll, reporting, and day-to-day plant support in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee payroll reconciliation efforts connected to acquired business activities and help ensure accurate financial alignment.
  • Manage key elements of the month-end close cycle, including preparing journal entries and completing account reconciliations on schedule.
  • Collaborate with plant leaders to review profit and loss results, evaluate operating trends, and provide financial insight on performance.
  • Examine and authorize plant purchase orders to confirm spending remains consistent with budgets and business priorities.
  • Maintain reliable financial records within an established legacy system environment and support ongoing accounting accuracy.
  • Share responsibility for payroll processing, including limited coverage at the end of the week and on weekends as needed.
  • Support manufacturing finance activities by monitoring cost performance, work in progress, and reporting tied to plant operations.
