Job Description
SUMMARY
The Assistant Controller oversees all financial and administrative operations, drives cost accounting initiatives, and supports HR processes. Works with executives and directors to enhance Companys overall financial performance and business opportunities. Reports to the Director of Finance.

Conduct monthly gross margin analyses and prepare associated reportsExecute monthly closing activities, including journal entries, variance analyses, project cost revenue accounting (POC), and inventory reporting.
Assist in establishing cost standards for new products and processes, driving innovation and efficiency.
Direct budgeting, forecasting, and support strategic business planning to achieve division level Revenue, EBITDA, and margin targetsOptimize and implement
Strong analytical skills and expertise in advanced Excel functions.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsExperience in process improvement and cross-department collaboration within manufacturing environmentsDemonstrated ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders and increase shareholder value in a fast paced environmentMust be a U.S. Person

Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related fieldPreferred:
Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related fieldPreferred:
DCAA government Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)EPICOR and/or extensive ERP/MRP knowledge and process control710 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on manufacturing Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, cost accounting principles, and internal control systems.Strong analytical skills and expertise in advanced Excel functions.
