  • Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant to support our Controller in managing financial operations, reporting, and administrative functions.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, financial acumen, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
THIS IS A PART-TIME
POSITION, approximately 15-25 hours a week.
Key Responsibilities Financial Support:
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures Support accounts payable and receivable processes Maintain and organize financial documentation and filing systems Overseeing statistical and sales type routine reporting to management
Collections:
Contact customers via phone, email or written communication to collect overdue payments. Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and payment issues. Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer communications Follow-up on promised payments and escalate unresolved accounts to Controller Required Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or administrative support Proficiency in Excel, accounting software (QuickBooks Online), and Microsoft Office Suite Experience with SOS Inventory helpful, but can train Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Strong organizational and time management skills Skills & Competencies Analytical and problem-solving abilities Professional demeanor and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Collaborative team player Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
