This position reports directly to the President/CEO. The successful applicant must be able to help support the short and long-term profitability of the credit union through administering and helping direct all finance and accounting practices and activities.
Responsibilities will include:
asset liability management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgets, general ledger management, account reconciliation, financial analysis, financial reporting and recordkeeping, payroll, cash management, taxes, audit, pension plans, developing financial policies and procedures, recommending deposit and loan rates, and reporting monthly to the Board. The individual must be able to ensure that sound fiduciary practices are followed, that all regulations governing credit union functions are strictly observed, and that sound generally accepted accounting practices are employed.
Full-time position:
