POSITION SUMMARY
Fierce Firearms is seeking a highly capable Controller / VP Finance to help lead the company through its next stage of growth. The company is a rapidly growing premium firearms manufacturer with strong brand recognition, expanding manufacturing capabilities, and long-term plans for continued scale and value creation. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with ownership and play a meaningful role in shaping the financial and operational future of the business. For the right candidate, there is significant upside potential through performance-based incentives and the opportunity to participate in the long-term success of the company. This role is not a traditional accounting-only controller position. We are seeking a hands-on financial leader with strong manufacturing and operational finance experience who can improve financial systems, forecasting, inventory management, KPI visibility, and cash flow management. The ideal candidate understands how to support high-growth manufacturing businesses and can partner directly with ownership to build scalable financial infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead all accounting and finance operations Develop and maintain weekly 13-week cash flow forecasting Build KPI dashboards and operational reporting systems Improve inventory analytics, costing, and inventory turns Oversee monthly close and financial reporting Manage banking relationships and borrowing base reporting Support strategic planning and growth initiatives Improve ERP utilization and financial systems Develop departmental budgeting and forecasting processes Analyze product margins, manufacturing costs, and profitability by SKU Assist ownership in preparing the company for long-term scalability and eventual exit opportunities
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
Manufacturing industry experience required Strong inventory and cost accounting experience Experience in high-growth operational environments Experience with ERP systems and KPI reporting Strong understanding of cash flow management and working capital Prior Controller, VP Finance, or CFO-track experience preferred CPA preferred but not required Experience supporting companies in the $15M-$75M revenue range preferred

COMPENSATION
Base Salary:
$135,000-$170,000 depending on experience Performance bonus Gift Incentive participation may be available for exceptional candidates aligned with long-term company growth and exit goals
Pay:
$140,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
