Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here A growing real estate operations organization with multiple business lines is seeking an experienced Controller to own the integrity of the books across a complex multi-entity structure. This role is focused on accurate financial reporting, trust accounting, internal controls, systems, and process improvement across real estate, property management, vacation rental, brokerage, and related operating entities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable leading accounting standards while using technology and AI to improve workflows and efficiency.  Qualifications 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years as a Controller, Assistant Controller, CFO, or senior accounting leader Experience in multi-business, multi-unit, or multi-entity accounting Hands-on trust accounting experience strongly preferred Experience in real estate, property management, vacation rentals, hospitality, brokerage, or a similar complex environment preferred Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close, internal controls, and accounting policy QuickBooks experience required; QuickBooks Desktop strongly preferred, QuickBooks Online acceptable AI-forward mindset with willingness to use AI and technology to improve accounting processes Responsibilities Own the accuracy and integrity of the books across multiple entities and business lines Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements by entity and on a consolidated basis Manage chart of accounts design, governance, consolidation methodology, intercompany matching, and eliminations Serve as the trust accounting authority across escrow, owner trust, deposit, and owner fund accounts Set accounting standards, improve internal controls, and ensure consistent policy application Review journal entries, reconciliations, variance commentary, and supporting workpapers Support audit requests, tax preparation, lender reporting, sales tax, lodging tax, and year-end 1099 processes Use QuickBooks, property management software, Google Suite, AI tools, and other technology to improve reporting and accounting efficiency Benefits Paid time off Medical, Dental & Vision 401(k) with
