Accounting & Reporting Excellence Location:

West Jordan, UT (Multi-Store Automotive Group) We're not looking for a traditional controller. We're looking for someone who gets satisfaction from clean schedules, accurate financials, and building reports that help operators run the business. Our dealership group is investing time and energy into improving our accounting foundation—tightening reconciliations, fixing inconsistencies, and creating financial visibility that drives better decisions. You will play a key role in making this happen. What You'll Do Own the accuracy and cleanliness of all balance sheet schedules across multiple rooftops Identify and resolve aged items, unsupported balances, and inconsistencies Standardize and enforce account mappings and chart of accounts discipline Work deeply within the accounting system to ensure data integrity and consistency Eliminate misclassifications and "plug" entries through root-cause correction Build and document repeatable, scalable accounting processes Develop reporting that managers actually use Improve the structure and usability of financial data across the organization What This Role Is (and Is Not) This is a hands-on, detail-heavy role for someone who likes to fix things and build better systems.

It is not a "sit-back-and-review" position. You will be in the weeds—cleaning, standardizing, and improving. What We're Looking For Strong dealership accounting experience (multi-store preferred) Deep understanding of schedules and reconciliations Proven experience cleaning up and improving accounting systems and processes High attention to detail and strong accountability mindset Process-driven thinker who challenges "that's how it's always been done" Ability to translate accounting data into meaningful operational insight Experience with the Tekion DMS system (strongly preferred) Why This Role Matters We are actively working to elevate the quality of our financial information across the organization.
