Job Description

FTG is a global corporation offering design, development, prototypes and manufacturing solutions for aerospace and defense electronic products and subsystems. With our technological strength and financial stability, FTG offers innovative engineered solutions, diverse manufacturing capabilities and product life-cycle support through our global footprint. This position is responsible for the financial and administrative areas of the company, to include accounting, human resources, and purchasing. In support of a $10MM and Growing Division of a $200MM Corporation.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Maintain systems for the production of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards on a monthly, quarterly, and annual (audited) basis. Responsible for site level general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable. Support intercompany reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare submission to corporate for annual budgeting process.
  • Support corporate financial audit efforts on a quarterly and an annual basis.
  • Support corporate efforts to complete Federal and state income tax returns.
  • Support risk management efforts, to include inputs required for the solicitation and selection of property, casualty, and liability insurance.
  • Retirement plan trustee; responsible for maintenance of plan documents to government standards; prudent investment in trust funds; provide for the maintenance of individual participant accounts.
Ensure timely filing of site Form 5500 series return.
Education and Experience:
  • BS in accounting required; CPA desirable.
  • 2. 5 years experience in a "for profit" entity required.
  • Superior communication skills (verbal and written) desired
