MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Vice President of Tax to join our team in Herndon, VA. The Vice President will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to support the enterprise's global tax strategy, to include creating cross-border planning documentation, responding to/implementing/documenting required regulatory controls, and completing required reporting tasks/actions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Creating, updating, maintaining, and interpreting required international tax planning and compliance documentation Working with management, internal teams, and global tax authorities to successfully navigate foreign and domestic tax audits for all corporate entities Documenting responses to required transfer pricing controls and updating as necessary while maintaining a robust library of compliance documentation, to include organizational structure diagrams for international legal entities, and making documentation available to all personnel with appropriate need-to-know Maintaining, updating, and conducting routine risk scanning across all international tax jurisdictions Maintaining tax positions and structural alignment management items, including global tax provision monitoring policies Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning cross-border tax strategies that meet all regulatory requirements Recommending, and when approved, implementing tax optimization process and policy improvements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in U.S. Tax Planning and Compliance, with 8+ years of Executive Leadership experience Experience working across a large team to drive a global tax agenda and working with complex, intertwined legal structures and international data flows Experience inventorying foreign tax risks, and with corporate tax documentation (cross-border transactions, tax provision compliance, treaty positions, centralized reporting, etc.) Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex corporate finance and tax documentation, particularly legal entity and transactional flow documentation
Preferred Qualifications :
Certified Public Accountant (CPA certification) or Juris Doctor (JD) with an LL.M. in Taxation Experience with enterprise-level global corporate tax provision and compliance automation tools Self-starter with excellent people skills - able to work across teams, organize steering committees/boards, and drive change throughout an organization Demonstrated experience navigating complex foreign tax jurisdictions and local country statutory requirements, especially as it relates to creating operational transfer pricing documentation Demonstrated experience meeting corporate compliance requirements in highly regulated multinational environments or similar environments
