We are currently seeking applicants for a full-time VP of Rehabilitative Services who will provide leadership and management for the Vocational Rehabilitation Services Unit, including strategic planning, staff supervision, fiscal performance, quality management, and regulatory compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties and responsibilities represent the essential functions of this job that an individual must be able to perform with or without a reasonable accommodation: Strategically plans, leads, coordinates, develops, monitors, and oversees all Vocational Rehabilitation Services Unit activities and involves managerial staff in implementing business and/or program development plans Responsible for the development and growth of the Community Employment program, C3 Program, and Brain Injury Services through seeking additional funding resources, identifying or creating individual job opportunities in the community, preparing and managing an annual budget, and tracking financial and performance goals Drives the development and implementation of operational systems, policies, and procedures to assure continual quality improvement of products or services and support organizational growth Ensures program is operating in accordance with applicable state licensure regulations, services board guidelines, and Eggleston policies and procedures Investigate and evaluate new rehabilitation opportunities and make recommendations to leadership regarding financial feasibility and alignment with Eggleston's mission Represents the organization to the external market and stakeholders to foster strategic communication, positive external relationships, and marketing activities Provides support for all compliance reviews with DMAS and CARF surveys Attends all required meetings and training Other duties as assigned Local travel is required in a personal and/or program vehicle Note:

The following qualifications represent the training, education, certifications, licensures, and/or work experience required to perform the essential duties and responsibilities successfully: Degree in Human Services or related field, or any combination of equivalent education with extensive management and supervisory experience, preferably within a non-profit organization Minimum three years of experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities General understanding of serious mental disabilities and physical or sensory disabilities required Basic understanding of CARF standards, vocational rehabilitation system (DARS), and state-funded Brain Injury Services programs, and Department of Labor fair wages and practices for employee-paid work required Comprehensive knowledge in positive behavior interventions and supports, developmental disabilities, conflict resolution skills, and rehabilitation theories and/or methodologies Willingness to learn and comply with regulatory requirements for program services, including documentation requirements to meet Medicaid, contractual, licensing regulations, and/orwith corporate policies and procedures Sound management practices, professional ethics, and boundaries Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to research, gather, and analyze data and prepare reports and presentations Capable of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, families, referral sources, and members of the community Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize multiple tasks and quickly adapt to changes in job routines Effective use of technology and information systems, including, but not limited to, Microsoft 365 PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Physical demands: Performing the duties of this job requires near visual acuity, the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds, and gross manipulation. Additionally, the employee: Must be free of tuberculosis in a communicable form Must be able to lift and/or move up to30 pounds Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time(up to two hours) Must be able to provide direct support services for individuals withphysical and/orintellectual disabilitieswhich may involve crouching, stooping,orreachingat/below shoulder level and overhead Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be in an office or indoor setting, or externally in community settings. Indoor environmental conditions will vary according to the weather conditions prevalent at the time, and exposure to inclement weather and extreme temperature variations can be expected when in community settings. The noise level in the work environment will vary.
