As a Controller, you will serve clients in fractional, interim, and project-based roles, providing leadership in day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management. The Controller is a full-time role, eligible for benefits. You'll work closely with client leadership to: Improve financial systems and reporting Oversee monthly close processes and internal controls Mentor accounting staff members Support strategic planning and decision-making with accurate financial data Manage projects, forecasting, and analysis to support business growth and transitions. Prepare for audits and assist with external reporting Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practicesQUALIFICATIONS
Accounting and/or Finance education and credentials, along with a mixture of public accounting experience as well as industry experience. Experience with nonprofit organizations or small/mid-sized businesses is a plus. Ability to think strategically, balancing big-picture vision with operational detail A track record of adaptability and problem-solving across different industries or company sizes Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with multiple accounting systems CPA preferred but not required Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Warren Whitney is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
