Resort Controller Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Resort Controller . In this role, you'll drive the financial health and long-term growth of a dynamic, fast-paced resort environment. As a trusted advisor to executive leadership, you'll oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while ensuring compliance and optimizing profitability across resort operations. You'll become part of a team where innovation meets impact-and where your expertise helps shape unforgettable guest experiences, every day. The anticipated hire date for this position is Spring 2026. This role may involve supporting multiple properties and requires flexibility for travel and potential relocation within our resort portfolio as organizational needs evolve.
What You'll Do:
Financial Planning & Analysis - Lead budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and provide actionable insights to support resort-wide goals. Compliance & Oversight - Ensure adherence to GAAP, regulatory standards, internal controls, and coordinate audits, tax filings, and external financial relationships. Team Leadership & Process Improvement - Supervise and develop the finance team while driving process improvements and optimizing financial systems.
What We're Looking For:
A four-year college degree (accounting preferred) or equivalent education/experience. Requires professional certification (e.g., CPA) or the equivalent level of experience. Experience required by position is five to ten years of employment in a related position (Finance/Accounting) with hospitality companies/organizations is preferred.
