Connect with Casey Wiggin on LI to discuss further!! We are looking for an experienced and strategic finance leader to oversee the financial operations of our hospitality business in Vermont. This position is integral to maintaining operational excellence while ensuring transparency and discipline in financial management. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the General Manager and other stakeholders to drive financial planning, reporting, and process optimization.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the resort's annual budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Oversee month-end close processes to maintain accurate and timely financial reporting. Implement and refine budgeting procedures to enhance efficiency and accountability. Prepare comprehensive financial reports and analyses to support decision-making. Monitor and manage cash flow forecasts to maintain fiscal stability. Act as a strategic advisor to the General Manager and leadership team regarding financial matters. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to optimize financial operations. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance leadership roles, preferably within the hospitality industry. Proven expertise in managing annual budgeting and financial planning processes. Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and financial reporting standards. Demonstrated ability to develop and manage cash flow forecasts. Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on operational efficiency and process improvement. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
