Position Overview:
We're partnering with a client seeking a driven and detail-oriented accounting professional to join their team in a key leadership capacity. This role offers flexibility in leveling (Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or emerging Controller) depending on experience. You'll play a critical role in overseeing core accounting functions, supporting financial reporting, and helping strengthen processes and controls. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to grow into or further develop within a Controller track.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory, and Revenue Recognition Support and or lead the month-end and year-end close process Prepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Assist with regulatory reporting and compliance requirements Research and apply technical accounting guidance as needed Help maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies Partner with leadership to develop and enhance financial processes and systems Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting and tax requirements Mentor or help guide junior accounting staff, depending on level
