ACCRA-FAB INC 57
reviews $27•$33 an hour•Full-time Elevate Your Career as an Assistant Financial Controller (aka The Robin to Our Financial Batman) Are you a numbers-driven professional? Well, listen up, all you spreadsheet wizards and ledger lovers! Our manufacturing empire (okay, it's a well-established and rapidly growing manufacturing company, but "empire" sounds cooler) needs a sidekick! We're searching for an Assistant Financial Controller, someone who can keep our books balanced while we're busy making… well, stuff . Why Join Us? We're a well-managed precision sheet metal contract manufacturing company that's growing faster than a gremlin in a waterpark after midnight. We make things. We sell things. We occasionally misplace things (like that pallet of widgets, where did that go?). And we need you to make sure all the "things" add up correctly. As our Assistant Financial Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with our growth objectives. What You'll Do:
Be the master of our Excel domain, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. You'll present financial reports to senior leadership (preferably without making them faint) in a way that even non-finance people can understand. Manage internal payroll processing (highly important for mutiny prevention). Help reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets, thus making you the Sherlock Holmes of our financial records; sniffing out discrepancies like a truffle pig in a forest of paperwork. Assist in audits, internal controls, and financial planning strategies, ensuring we're always playing by the rules (even the ones that seem like they were written by a caffeinated squirrel). Ensure our compliance with tax regulations, company policies, and even rules with fancy acronyms that sound like robot names (GAAP, anyone?). Collaborate with various departments (including some, "We have a budget?" people) to improve financial processes and operational efficiency. Basically, help keep us from creating any more "where did those widgets go?" situations. What You Bring to the Table (Besides a Calculator): 2+ Years of Accounting Education (because we like our numbers with a side of education). 2+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance (we need someone who knows their debits from their donuts). Gold star if you also have prior experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong Excel skills (we want to see some of that "I'll just do a quick VLOOKUP" smugness). Proficiency in ERP systems & financial reporting tools. A keen eye for detail and the ability to find money that everyone else thought was lost (like finding a dollar in your winter coat, but with way more zeros). A sense of humor (because accounting can be as dry as toast without butter). The ability to locate missing pallets of widgets. What We Offer:
Competitive salary and performance-based incentives. Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and retirement plans. A supportive team (we're like a family, but with fewer awkward holiday dinners). Professional development and career growth opportunities (we're all about personal development, especially when it involves not losing pallets of widgets). Ready to take your finance career to the next level in a dynamic manufacturing setting? Apply today! We look forward to welcoming a dedicated financial professional who wants to show off how good they are at pivot tables, and is eager to make an impact with a fantastic company.Job Type:
