WHAT YOU WILL DO
Support all accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance with
U.S. GAAP
Monthly cashflow management and banking transaction reconciliation Lead cost accounting, including analysis of materials, labor, overhead, and production variance Manage freight costs, including reconciliation, reporting, and analysis Evaluate overhead expenses and produce variance reports to identify discrepancies. Conduct monthly gross margin analyses and prepare associated reports Execute monthly closing activities, including journal entries, variance analyses, project cost revenue accounting (POC), and inventory reporting. Assist in establishing cost standards for new products and processes, driving innovation and efficiency. Direct budgeting, forecasting, and support strategic business planning to achieve division level Revenue, EBITDA, and margin targets Optimize and implement
ERP/HRIS
system processes Collaborate with operations leadership to evaluate pricing, quoting, and profitability Foster a positive team culture, continuous improvement, and cross-department communication
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
Preferred:
Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
Preferred:
DCAA government Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) EPICOR and/or extensive ERP/MRP knowledge and process control 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on manufacturing Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, cost accounting principles, and internal control systems. Strong analytical skills and expertise in advanced Excel functions. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience in process improvement and cross-department collaboration within manufacturing environments Demonstrated ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders and increase shareholder value in a fast paced environment Must be a U.S. Person
