Job Description
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLHH is partnering with a company that has been making some changes and efficiencies to their team. They are looking for a temporary Assistant Controller to help with the day-to-day work and to assist with some implementing changes. This role is hands-on, operationally focused, and well-suited for someone with manufacturing or consumer goods experience. This position is fully in office in Seattle, but free parking is available. This role will probably be about a four-month contract role. Responsibilities Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Oversee cost accounting activities including inventory, standard costing, and COGS Partner with operations on production cost analysis and margin improvement Maintain internal controls and support audit activities Lead and develop accounting staff (AP/AR/Staff Accountants) Contribute to ERP optimization and process improvements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Seven or more years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or CPG Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management ERP experience and advanced Excel skills Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Pay Details:
