Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance to lead and oversee the financial operations of our organization in Seattle, Washington. This role is critical in driving strategic financial planning, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing the organization's fiscal health. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven ability to analyze and optimize financial performance while mentoring a high-performing team.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of financial operations, including planning, risk assessment, record-keeping, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Create and oversee comprehensive budgets that align with organizational goals and provide detailed financial reports to senior leadership.
  • Administer payroll processes with precision, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to offer strategic financial insights and evaluate opportunities for investments and partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations, updating internal policies to meet legal requirements.
  • Lead and develop the finance team by establishing clear goals, providing constructive feedback, and encouraging growth focused on attention to detail.
  • Monitor cash flow and forecast financial trends to support organizational decision-making.
  • Prepare month-end financial reports and ensure the accuracy of closing processes.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve financial outcomes.
  • Partner with the Director of People & Culture on compensation, benefits, and payroll-related matters.
The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $180,000 + discretionary bonus.
