Job Description

Robert Half is looking for a Director of Finance to join a dynamic and growing team in the Wenatchee, WA area. The Director of Finance is responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting across a complex, multi-entity organization. This role leads the monthly close process, oversees compliance and treasury functions, and partners with executive leadership to provide financial insights that support both operational and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and capable of operating both tactically and strategically.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Close & ReportingLead the timely and accurate execution of the monthly close processPrepare, review, and analyze journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentationAnalyze general ledger activity and investigate variancesDevelop and maintain cost allocation methodologies across entitiesPrepare monthly financial statements and internal management reportsIdentify trends and provide actionable business insightsCompliance & ReportingRespond to inquiries from regulatory agenciesPrepare and file applicable tax returns (including sales/use and excise tax)Support research and application of applicable assistance or incentive programsAssist with lender reporting and compliance requirementsTreasury & Cash ManagementOversee bank and debt reconciliationsManage daily cash operations, including fraud prevention processesDevelop cash flow forecasts and liquidity planningMonitor working capital and banking activityPartner with executive leadership on financing and capital structureLeadership & Strategic ResponsibilitiesSupport operating plans and monitor financial performance against targetsMentor and develop finance team membersImprove systems, processes, and internal controlsBuild relationships with financial partners and internal stakeholdersSupport investor reporting and financial analysisLead or contribute to special projects and system enhancements
