Job Description

Robert Half is looking for a Director of Finance to join a dynamic and growing team in the Wenatchee, WA area. The Director of Finance is responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting across a complex, multi-entity organization. This role leads the monthly close process, oversees compliance and treasury functions, and partners with executive leadership to provide financial insights that support both operational and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and capable of operating both tactically and strategically. Key Responsibilities Financial Close & Reporting Lead the timely and accurate execution of the monthly close process Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation Analyze general ledger activity and investigate variances Develop and maintain cost allocation methodologies across entities Prepare monthly financial statements and internal management reports Identify trends and provide actionable business insights Compliance & Reporting Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies Prepare and file applicable tax returns (including sales/use and excise tax) Support research and application of applicable assistance or incentive programs Assist with lender reporting and compliance requirements Treasury & Cash Management Oversee bank and debt reconciliations Manage daily cash operations, including fraud prevention processes Develop cash flow forecasts and liquidity planning Monitor working capital and banking activity Partner with executive leadership on financing and capital structure Leadership & Strategic Responsibilities Support operating plans and monitor financial performance against targets Mentor and develop finance team members Improve systems, processes, and internal controls Build relationships with financial partners and internal stakeholders Support investor reporting and financial analysis Lead or contribute to special projects and system enhancements

$125,000-$150,000

2 weeks paid time off Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting desired 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of key processes and reporting Strong experience with general ledger, multi-entity, and intercompany accounting CPA or progress toward CPA preferred Core Competencies Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting High attention to detail with strong analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to operate at both detailed and strategic levels Intellectual curiosity and desire to grow into leadership Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (Business Central a plus) Experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus Additional Information 100% on-site role based in Wenatchee, WA Occasional travel to operating locations may be required Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
