Supported by recent capital investments and a clear growth strategy, the organization is entering an exciting new chapter and is seeking a Director of Finance to help build the financial infrastructure needed to support future expansion. Reporting directly to the CFO of the parent company, the Director of Finance will serve as a trusted business partner to both executive leadership and operational teams. This is a highly visible role that offers the opportunity to influence strategy, enhance decision-making, and develop scalable processes and systems that will position the company for long-term success. As the primary accounting and finance leader for the business, this role will oversee all financial activities while helping build the processes, systems, and reporting infrastructure needed to support future growth. Key Responsibilities Lead the organization's financial strategy, planning, forecasting, and analysis to support business objectives and long-term growth. Partner with executive leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable financial initiatives and drive projects through successful completion. Build, implement, and continuously improve financial processes, controls, reporting frameworks, and systems to support a growing organization. Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial reporting packages, including insightful management discussion and analysis (MD&A) that clearly explains results, trends, and key business drivers. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and alignment with strategic objectives. Collaborate closely with operations leadership to connect operational performance with financial outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop meaningful financial and operational metrics that enhance visibility and support informed decision-making. Ensure timely and consistent delivery of high-quality financial reporting and analysis. Lead and support strategic initiatives, acquisitions, integrations, and other special projects as the business continues to grow. Evaluate and enhance accounting, finance, and business systems to improve efficiency, scalability, and reporting capabilities. Foster a collaborative, team-oriented culture while mentoring and developing finance team members. Leverage technology and emerging AI tools to improve financial operations, productivity, and decision support. Qualifications Minimum of 15 years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred. Demonstrated success partnering with business leaders to drive performance and operational improvements. Experience building, improving, and scaling financial processes, controls, and infrastructure within a growing organization. Strong financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting experience. Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and technology platforms. Interest in leveraging technology and AI to improve finance processes and business outcomes. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Why This Opportunity?
