Financial Controller

Job Description Badger Talent Solutions is seeking a Controller for a full-time, on-site opportunity in the Greater Kenosha Area . This is a hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the President and overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of a growing manufacturing organization. We're looking for a finance leader who enjoys being involved in the details while also helping drive strategic business decisions. This position will lead the accounting team, provide operational financial insight, and play a key role in supporting the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities, including month-end and year-end close processes Manage and develop accounting staff while overseeing daily accounting operations Prepare financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and management reporting packages Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, margins, and operational performance to support decision-making Drive cost accounting initiatives and ensure accurate product costing and inventory valuation Partner with operations and leadership to improve profitability, financial controls, and business processes ✅

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA strongly preferred Experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accounting Leader within a manufacturing environment Background in cost accounting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing financial analysis Experience managing and developing accounting teams Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with executives and operational leaders This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Controller who wants to be more than just the numbers person.
