Job Description:
Our non-profit client located in Madison is looking for an Interim VP of Finance to assist during a transition period. This role is 20 hours/week and an estimated 6-9 months in length.
Responsibilities:
Lead all financial operations, including accounting, general ledger management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and asset/liability management Serve as the primary financial contact for external partners, including banks and investment managers Manage cash flow and investments to ensure funding availability for operations, grants, and investment obligations Manage annual Form 990 and 990-T filings, quarterly federal estimated tax payments, and overall tax compliance Administer private investment partnership activities, including capital calls, distributions, agreements, amendments, and related tax requirements Participate in investment performance analysis and benchmarking through quarterly and annual surveys Oversee payroll processing, employee benefits, retirement plan administration, and biweekly payroll review Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll tax requirements through review of quarterly and annual payroll filings
Requirements:
10+ years of accounting or finance CPA and degree in accounting or finance preferred Ability to commit to the 6-9 month timeframe Strong technical skills
