This pivotal role combines expert financial management with rigorous compliance oversight, driving fiscal health and integrity. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of accounting principles—including
GAAP, IFRS, IAS
—and a proven track record in risk management, strategic planning, and financial analysis within complex organizational structures. As a key member of our executive team, you will shape financial strategies that support sustainable growth while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. Duties Oversee all aspects of corporate finance including budgeting, forecasting, investment management, and cost control to optimize organizational profitability and sustainability. Lead the development and implementation of financial policies aligned with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other applicable frameworks such as ASC 606 for revenue recognition. Manage regulatory reporting processes ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial statements in compliance with local, national, and international standards. Supervise treasury functions including cash flow analysis, accounts payable and receivable, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger accounting to maintain liquidity and financial stability. Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial vulnerabilities; develop strategies for risk mitigation and compliance management. Oversee internal controls related to governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, and technical accounting practices to uphold transparency and accountability. Lead strategic planning initiatives by providing insightful financial analysis, interpreting complex financial reports, and advising on profit & loss optimization strategies. Manage a team of finance professionals ensuring continuous development in areas such as cost accounting, account analysis, account reconciliation, and financial report writing. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Extensive experience in corporate accounting, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, or public accounting environments. Deep understanding of
IFRS, GAAP
(Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IAS standards, and ASC 606 revenue recognition guidelines. Proven expertise in risk management, compliance management, and regulatory reporting processes. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively. Proficiency in financial software systems and advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data clearly for diverse audiences. Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, investment management, and cost management. Knowledge of treasury management practices including cash flow analysis and investment strategies.
