Financial Controller

Job Summary:

Tri-State Paving and Sealcoating Inc is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Controller to lead our finance operations. You will manage daily accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls to drive accuracy and profitability. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader capable of providing strategic financial insights to the executive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Manage all accounting operations, general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end/year-end close processes.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with GAAP, local, state, and federal tax regulations.

Analysis & Budgeting:

Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and operating budgets while identifying variances.

Internal Controls:

Establish and maintain robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Leadership:

Supervise, mentor, and support the accounting team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
