Mortgage Loan Partner

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Partner to serve as a key extension of our Loan Officer team. This role is ideal for a mortgage professional who understands borrower qualification, thrives in a fast-paced pipeline environment, and can proactively prepare strong files prior to underwriting. This position plays a critical role in evaluating borrower eligibility, preparing TBD/pre-underwriting submissions, managing documentation flow, and helping ensure files move efficiently from application through approval. Responsibilities Partner closely with Loan Officers to review and prepare mortgage applications Analyze borrower income, assets, credit, and documentation to assess qualification strength Prepare detailed qualification summaries outlining risks, opportunities, and strategy notes for Loan Officers Proactively request and track borrower documentation needed for accurate qualification review Prepare and submit files for TBD/pre-underwriting evaluation Review underwriting feedback and coordinate collection of required conditions Help interpret underwriting conditions and facilitate resolution with borrowers Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and applicant status across team systems Ensure files are structured for strong first pass underwriting approvals Act as a key communication bridge between Loan Officers, borrowers, and operations Qualifications Previous experience as a Loan Partner, Loan Officer Assistant, Processor, or Pre-Underwriting Support Specialist Strong understanding of mortgage qualification guidelines (income analysis, assets, credit review across FHA, VA and Conventional loan types) Experience preparing files for TBD or pre-underwriting submission strongly preferred Ability to identify documentation gaps before underwriting review Highly organized with strong follow-through across multiple active files Comfortable working independently while supporting a high-producing Loan Officer team Strong written communication and borrower interaction skills What Makes This Role Different This is not an administrative support position. This role is a strategic pipeline partner responsible for strengthening file quality, improving underwriting readiness, and helping Loan Officers operate at a higher production level. Pay:

$45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
