Stop Loss Coordinator

Stop Loss Coordinator (Entry-Level) Our client, a growing organization within the insurance and financial services space, is seeking a detail-oriented Stop Loss Coordinator to support their underwriting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career in insurance operations and underwriting support.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a high-volume quote inbox by prioritizing requests and ensuring timely turnaround Accurately enter and maintain data in Excel-based quote spreadsheets Prepare and submit completed quote files to the underwriting intake team for further review Respond to internal and external inquiries related to quote requests and provide status updates Troubleshoot and resolve issues with quote submissions in a timely and professional manner Set up and maintain electronic and hard copy files for underwriting review Review files for completeness and follow up to obtain any missing information Coordinate additional requirements, including nurse reviews when applicable Assist the underwriting team with new business onboarding and sold case processing Support the preparation of monthly reports and tracking metrics

Qualifications:

Associate's degree preferred Previous experience in administrative support, office support, or data entry required Experience in insurance, financial services, or accounting environments preferred Proficiency in Excel and strong data entry skills High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities

Additional Preferred Skills:

Exposure to insurance administration, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, or collections Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Oakbrook Terrace, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
