Commensurate with experience, plus excellent benefits Overview The Business Services team in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business is accepting applications for a Business Assistant II. This is a full time, non-exempt position reporting to the Business Manager in the Huntsman School. The Business Assistant will serve as the primary contact to the Huntsman School departments to process travel requests, p-card purchases, and financial reviews. The position requires organizational skills, and needs to be able to work independently as well as be a team player. This position is eligible for hybrid work within the state of Utah. Responsibilities Make purchases in accordance with University policies and procedures. Attach receipts for p-card purchases. Process all travel authorization and travel reimbursement requests in compliance with USU procedures and policies. Review financial transactions. Maintain spreadsheets to track information. Process journal entries as needed. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Four years of related work experience; or an associate degree/technical training plus two years of related work experience; or a bachelor's degree in a business field is required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work efficiently without immediate supervision. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential business data. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential business data and personal information. Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to select the best solution and solve problems. Ability to work to create a team-based environment - consistently demonstrating cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors, and customers. Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
