Job Description
Job Description Montgomery College, Rockville Campus has an immediate need for a full-time Financial Aid Assistant in the Financial Aid Department. The work schedule is 40 hours a week, Monday, Wednesday
- Friday, 8:30 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m., and Tuesday, 10:00 a.m.
- 6:30 p.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or G.E.D, and one year of experience in student financial aid or equivalent combination of education, training, certification and/or experience that provides the required knowledge and expertise to perform the essential functions of the job. Customer service experience with a thorough knowledge of customer service techniques. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent attention to detail. Basic knowledge of current Student Financial Aid Office policies and procedures, federal financial aid regulations and policies, state grant and loan programs and regulations, and institutional policies governing financial aid. Ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks in a demanding office environment. Skilled in use of business English, spelling, grammar and conventional styles and formats used in office communications. The equivalent combination of education, training, certification and/or experience that provides the required knowledge and expertise to perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.Preferred Qualifications:
Two years previous experience in a high-demand, front facing customer service position.Hiring Range:
$23.70- $30.
