Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for advanced financial planning, analysis and projections for the company. He/she will analyze historical financial performance, project future financial performance, and support business decision making with ad-hoc analysis. Additionally, they may lead teams in accomplishing project goals that support the financial success of the company.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Develops, supports, and maintains analysis tools for use in business applications Advise leadership of the company on financial analysis results Identify trends, risks, and opportunities Analyze financial statements Develops organizational processes and process improvements Compares and analyzes actual results with plans and forecasts Creates financial analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques and recommending actions Reconciles and audits accounts as assigned Provides financial modeling, financial analysis, and valuation support for business projects Creates monthly financial analysis reports for review by business leadership Generate ad-hoc reporting on operational or financial performance Perform other duties as requiredEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years' experience in the Finance and Accounting Industry preferredEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or related fieldSKILL/ KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Expertise with Microsoft Excel Expertise with Microsoft Access Knowledge with Tableau Business Intelligence Software or Power BI Ability to multi-task and meet constant deadlines Able to adapt to changes in process and procedure Ability to influence and persuade Time Management Great presentation skills Confidentiality Ability to problem solve Strategic Thinking Quality Control Must be a self- starter Must comply with all operational directives and company policiesWORK ENVIRONMENT
Professional office environment; occasionally employee will be required to visit field operations for analysis purposes.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
